Rapa Nui, also known as Easter Island is populated by hundreds of massive carved stone heads which have been erected.  The stone heads have the appearance of aliens, or so the stories go.  One fact is generally accepted.  Aliens were not builders of the monoliths, archeologists have determined the island's forests were harvested to extinction in service to the building of the monuments.
